About the Project

We are producing YouTube content short films and other creative content with a strong focus on storytelling, visuals, and performance. I am the Director & Producer and am looking for a reliable camera operator to collaborate on weekend shoots. This is a great opportunity for consistent work and creative growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate camera during YouTube and short film shoots

• Follow direction from the Director while maintaining strong framing and composition

• Maintain proper focus, exposure, and camera movement

• Shoot primarily on tripod, handheld, or gimbal as required

• Record behind the scene footages

• Work efficiently in a small, fast-moving crew

• Handle provided gear with care and professionalism

Requirements

• Experience operating cameras for YouTube, narrative, or short-form content

• Solid understanding of:

  • Exposure (ISO, shutter speed, aperture)

  • Framing and composition

  • Basic camera movement

• Comfortable shooting in 4K

• Professional, punctual, and collaborative

• Available on weekends
  
  

Gear & Pay Structure

• Base Rate: $300/day (production provides camera gear)

• Rate Increase Available if operator provides specialized gear required for the project (to be discussed per shoot)

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with short films or narrative work

• Gimbal experience (DJI Ronin / RS series)

• Ability to bring specific gear if requested

• Basic understanding of lighting setups
